You don’t need to know how to use Wordpress to use Red Cloud. We have adjusted the Wordpress interface to suit your needs and we teach you how to do everything when we hand you your website. We even have drop and drag designs similar to Wix and Squarespace if you need that visual aid.
We have had curated 100’s of website templates and they can be a bore to go through individually. That is why we have a Client Questionnaire that helps us identify which layouts best suit your style and brand. We will offer you a short-list of layouts to selectfrom, saving you time and hassle, until you find the one that’s perfect for you!
Because the internet is a dynamic space that is constantly growing! Your website will always need updates and maintenance to keep up with the security challenges of the internet evolving, otherwise you’ll be at risk or your website won’t load efficiently. Further, having a website on the internet isn’t free, even if you have it already built! Like rent, your website costs to have its own corner.$40 a month might sound like a look but if you look at it from our perspective $20 of that is to keep your website up-to-date and we only get another $20 to fix whatever problems might come up and support you – however long that takes.
We wish this was possible but it isn’t! The Add-On are the low rates that they are because we’ve built the foundation that is familiar for us. Working on someone else’s terrain takes us longer, and it doesn’t cover our rate. If you like our Add-Ons, you’ll need to build a website with us!
It’s important that you know what you want because if you’re unsure then you might find yourself indecisive. We try to identify your needs with the Client Questionnaire and then we present a website template for you. This is when you visually get to decide what you want for your website and we map out exactly what you’re getting before its built. You shouldn’t need any revisions when we build your website, but there are some things we can adjust and revise if you really need to.
Kim Cums is your woman. She is based in Sydney but she does tour around the country for work so if you want to be notified when she’s near you – just leave us a message.
Every website needs a server to host it. If you have a website then you have a server hosting you. If you imagine your website as a house then your domain is your address (www.thisishowyoufindme.com) and hosting is paying land tax from a server, the owner of the land.
The new FOSTA/SESTA laws make technology companies liable for the content its users post. If you advertise sex work, this can be interpreted as sex trafficking in the US, and a lot of companies areshut down sex workers online as a result. We’ve seen this with companies like Escort Design closing sex workers websites.
If you also work, or tour, in an area where sex work is criminalised, hosting websites can shut you down.
Have a look at who’s your host at the moment. If they are a US-based company or have server in the US, you *may* be under risk of FOSTA/SESTA and Red Cloud might be an option for you.
If they’re not US-based, you should be fine. However, if you are working or touring in an area where sex work in criminalised, this can be grounds to shut your account.
Sure do – wrote a 19-page article on the topic. In it I covered Twitter, payment methods, Wordpress, domains, language and content, emails, Skype, Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram, storage (google drive), VPNs, encrypted messaging.

The head is Estelle Lucas and I deal with the administration and the day to day communications. Kim Cums from Bumbershoot Creative helps with the technology side of things. I have an IT expert who does the more technical things such as the web hosting. They do not divulge any personal information and only have access to things like your web address.
Yes. When I was negotiating for the server I had to agree to one condition to get the deal at the rate I wanted it. Unfortunately, Red Cloud is unable to host pornographic material. I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this might cause you.
Unfortunately, yes. Wix and Squarespace are not FOSTA/SESTA proof and they purposefully make it so you can’t backup or migrate your website with anyone but them. I cannot migrate your website for you.
We can, however, recreate your website and get it onto the Red Cloud server.
If this isn’t an option, I recommend backing up the content of your website and also taking screenshots. Then you should sit back and relax. If FOSTA/SESTA is going to get your website down, you’ve done all that you’ve can.
I’m guessing you’re hosting with a huge company. If I had stacks and stacks of servers at my workplace waiting to be occupied, then I too would have a similar rate. Unfortunately, for a privately-operated server such as Red Cloud, it’s impossible and unsustainable to have anything cheaper than $250 a year. Building websites from scratch is also hard work but at least in this case you own it entirely and can migrate it to other places.
No. That’s not how it works. Australia’s infrastructure is poor, but this refers to home connection not server speed. When Google makes its SEO speed assessment, it’s looking at your server, not a home connection. It’s a thing called “ping” time, which is how long it takes you to send info to and from a server. If the server is in Australia it’s less than 100ms, if it’s overseas it’s at least triple that. That is what google looks at when it is judging loading speeds.
If you need more convincing, I can show you a screenshot of your server speed before and after Red Cloud.
Red Cloud will keep your email to contact you for payment. It will also keep a record of your web address. If you pay into the bank account through credit card or direct bank transfer, there will be a record of this with the bank that only I will access and that’s something I cannot help. For the upmost anonymity I recommend paying with bitcoin.
